Larry McAtee, CFPIM, CIRM

When Larry was involved in mainframe computer sales, a technical consultant invited him to attend an APICS meeting. He was impressed by the quality of the program and the professionalism of the members. Several years later he joined a manufacturing company as their Director of Information. One of his first actions was to get involved with APICS to learn all he could about manufacturing. That was in 1981.
In 1983, he was invited to teach his first certification review class. Since that time he has taught all the certification review modules that APICS has offered. These courses were both opened to the general membership as well as a large number of in-house classes. In addition he also taught the CIRM classes that the OKC Chapter offered. (Note: APICS discontinued offering the APICS Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) program on June 1, 2008)

Besides earning both the CFPIM and CIRM certifications, he has taught review classes and spoken at a number of International Conferences. At the regional level he has spoken at a number of PDMs and Top Management Nights for the OKC Chapter and other Chapters in the region.
