We have an immediate opening for a buyer who is energetic, analytical, can make logical decisions and has a can do attitude.

The successful candidate must possess supply chain buying knowledge and/or experience, knowledge of the procurement process including contract negotiation, commodity strategies and strategic supplier management. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers is a must as well as excellent communication, follow up and documentation skills. Must have knowledge and/or experience of ERP and MS Office Functions including Excel.

Duties: Position responsibilities will include preparing and processing purchase orders, analyzing quotes to determine lowest acquisition cost, interacting with supply base for current and future requirements, determining availability and sources of supply for requested materials and assisting in supplier selection, surveys and qualifications.
