Student Paper Contest

As many of you know, for many years APICS has sponsored the Fogarty Student Paper Contest through the Education and Research Foundation.  This year the E&R Foundation and APICS discontinued the program.

The Terra Grande District (Region VI) and the Heartland District (Region V) have worked together to sponsor The Charles K. “Chuck” Nelson  Student Paper Contest District competition.  As many of you know, Chuck Nelson was a great leader in APICS and especially in our District prior to his passing away last year. 

Attached are the rules, prizes and details of the contest.  The deadline for submissions is May 15, 2008.  We apologize for the short notice, but we were just notified of the previous paper competition being cancelled.  Prizes of $300 and $500 will be awarded for first and second prices for both Undergraduate and Graduate papers. Upcoming Speaker Notes

(May 15th)

May's PDM will be the Plant Tour of Pelco Products Inc. which was previously postponed because of weather.

Pelco Products Inc. is located at 320 W. 18th Street, Edmond, OK 73013.

The cost of the meeting will be $10.00 per person. We will be providing a boxed lunch sandwich and drink from Jason’s Deli for the event. Special dietary needs will be accommodated, if needed please contact Tiffany Broome @ 405-562-4651 or email tiffany.broome@pelcoinc.com.
